About Me
I have always enjoyed taking pictures, and I still have my dad's old Kodak film camera that he let me use when I was a child. As soon as I was paid for my first job at a local corner shop in England, I couldn't wait to spend my hard-earned cash on an Olympus Trip 35 (as advertised by David Bailey in the 70s and 80s). I think it took me about a month to save up. In case you don't know who David Bailey is, he is an English photographer known for his fashion and portraiture since the 1960s. I wanted to be just like him.
I didn't become David Bailey when I grew up but I've always enjoyed being a photographer rather than posing for a photograph. I've realized that pictures are sometimes happy accidents, but since I took a Digital Photography class a few years ago, I now understand how light and reflection can add to a picture. One of my favorite things is to head to the beach at sunrise. Luckily my family loves to join me.
I have never stopped taking photographs, but I'm not always great at keeping up with my blog. I'm back, and I hope you enjoy my pictures. Thank you for looking,
